Cheap Duffle Bag

I spend 10 months out of the year traveling around the world with bands. In and out of planes, tour buses, ferries, etc I've learned the key is to have a strong reliable suitcase. I mean I live out of it 10 months out of the year. It is one of the best investments I ever made. It has survived countless plane trips, hotel rooms etc. I love this thing. Wheels are large and well made. The warranty program is one of the best things. One of my other fellow roadies told me one of his ripped once and he contacted them. The next morning, there was a loaner bag at the front desk, and an empty box and shipping label for his ripped one. 3 days with the loaner bag, he was sent his newly fixed bag washed cleaned and well revamped. 2 Warranty repair centers in the US, one here in NY the other in Cali. So wherever you are, they will fix it and ship without an issue. Highly highly recommend anything in their BRX product line. Solid product.

We purchased 2 of the 26' duffle bags so we could pack everything we need for 7-9 day vacations. The quality is top notch and they're easy to handle. They also hold the same amount as a larger suitcase without the added weight and collapse for storage. I particularly like the flexibility of being able to pack the top only, the top and bottom separately or as one deep duffle. The stretchy mesh panels inside do a great job of holding things in place and that was my primary reason for trying a duffle --- although duffles hold more, usually your clothes shift around and wrinkle because of the depth. This bag weighs the same as my 21" one step expandable so it is light and I'm looking forward to many opportunities to use it. Amazon's service was excellent.

I was impressed with the assortment of duffel bags offered here. The choice of fabrics from nylon to leather, and the range of prices is right on target. Anyone should be able to find something they like on this site.

I have had this product for about 3 months now and have already taken it on 3 overseas trips - one to Europe and 2 to the Middle East. It is a bit heavy and not having any wheels, you'll need a folding wheeled cart (I bought one from Target for $40 - where the wheels flatten out when folded) to lug it around the airport. It does not have any zippers, so the downside is when you are going through security, and if they want to check your bag (traveling in the Middle East almost ensures they want to hand-check your luggage), you'll need to prepare beforehand. What I do is to just use the center strap to hold it together until I am past security and then I use the 3 front fasteners. The ones on the side, I rarely use as I just stuff odds and ends into the side pockets.The first time I used it, I stuffed clothes into the main compartment - this helped bulge it out and since then it has retained it's shape - you can fit quite a lot into it - just watch the weight. Getting it into the overhead compartment is quite easy - it fits into almost any aircraft (except the tiny ones and then no suitcase fits in those planes). I really wish Dave would re-consider and put wheels on this line of luggage (and the vintage suitcases - that is the only reason that is keeping me from buying one of them).I've received many compliments on this piece of luggage (even from the security folks). After buying this one, I bought a messenger bag from Saddleback and have been very happy with that one as well.…

I agree with the other reviewers.Highlights:- Durability - The overall construction is very tough. I've used this bag on skiing and diving trips in rain, snow, and worst of all, international luggage handlers :-) and it's survived them all.- The dual-compartment design is AWESOME. I use the bottom compartment for hardware (ski boots, fins, gloves, etc) and the top compartment for clothes. Keep in mind that: (a) the top/bottom compartment divider is mesh, so that has pros and cons...on the one hand it means there is good breathability for damp stuff you put in the bottom compartment, but on the other hand if you put your muddy boots into the bottom compartment the mud is going to leech into the top compartment...you'll want to wrap your dirty stuff; (b) the bottom compartment is fairly shallow, about 5 inches (lay a ski boot on its side and it's about that height) but because the compartment divider is mesh there is some stretch to the compartment space.- Looks - It's a really cool looking bag.- The big wheels are GREAT for lugging over tarmac, on boats, up stairs, etc, and the pull handle is SOLID. It also snaps/locks into the bag nicely so there is no danger of the pull handle slipping out while in a cargo hold and snapping.- The goggle compartment is excellent, although it does obviously take up some internal space in the bag that you have to learn to pack around.- The semi-hard back and bottom plates help the bag stay upright (this is a problem with a lot of other rolling…

I travel a lot with my job. Most of our trips are 2-3 day trips. This bag holds enough clothes for 3 days. I've had mine for over two years and I use it all the time. It has held up well and is getting more beautiful after every trip.All the straps can make it cumbersome to get in and out of. All the straps have to be undone to be able to get into the bag.I also wish the end pockets were a bit bigger.

If you are considering the Tumi Alpha Duffel, you already know all you need to buy it. It is the absolute best quality with the functional design and subtle style that is Tumi. This is the kind of bag that you will only have to replace if you lose it. Is it worth the price? I certainly thought so, I bought one. I have been very happy with it since. If you have the means to pick one up, I highly recommend it. Isn't that what Ferris Bueller said about Cameron's Ferrari? Same idea but in luggage.

I searched high and low for a high quality leather overnight bag and finally came up with this. I went back and forth over the smaller and larger size due to carry on restrictions nowadays, but I figured since it's soft sided, it wouldnt be an issue, and it wasn't. I've been through four airports with it without problems. The leather is of wonderful quality, the adjustable shoulder strap is comfortable, the length is just right for getting papers and other items out of the side pockets while still carrying. Also, for the techie traveler, a 10.1" tablet fits perfectly upright in either end pocket, as well as most hard bound novels. The ONLY thing that I might complain about, and it's really not that much of an issue, is the u shaped zipper on the top takes two hands to open slowly, but this also allows me to drop folded clothes in easily without wrinkling. The lining is a nice high quality as well. I can easily pack for two days with this bag, very glad I got the larger size now.

There are many bags that will work for a long weekend and do it cheaper BUT none are cooler. Bag is a stand out and very unique. I also own the briefcase. Awesome brand, image, and products.

Seriously cool product! I waited to write a review until I had the chance to fully use this awesome bag (took a 6 day trip). Opted for the water-bag versus the overnight duffel, and I'm glad I did! The water-bag seems to hold enough for a weeks worth of clothing for me. Quality, there's nothing better, truly a product that lives up to the hype. Can't tell you how many compliments I received -- not that, that matters to me, just something of enough quality and uniqueness that it draws the eye and interest to itself. I purchased the backpack at the same time and there really aren't words for the impressive design and sturdiness that Saddleback offers, you won't find anything of true comparison.

I just got my bag today and I do have to say I love it! It's a great size, and the leather's got just the right thickness. The leather got the right thickness, not too thin and not so thick that it would add tons of weight to the bag. Picture, colour were accurate. Sellers were very courteous. Thanks guys!

My husband loves this bag, because he is 6'4, and all his giant clothes fit in it. When he pulls it, it moves along smartly and is almost upright. My experience with the bag is a bit less than optimal. I am about 5'5, and the bag is awkward for me to drag along. It's heavy when packed, and stuff kind of sloshes around inside it. And you will mostly have to check it with today's commercial aircraft interiors. I gave it three stars for stellar workmanship - it's beautiful and tough - mine has been all over the world and still looks new. But, for me, it just isn't that useful. Good duffel for a tall, strong guy who doesn't mind checking his bag, though.

I took this on a one week trip. Disagree with previous reviews that it is good for 3 days. I used the bottom layer and rolled my clothes. Fitted 3 pants, 6 shirts, underwear and work out clothes inclusive of jacket. Top layer i fitted running shoes and 2 pairs of dress shoes, toiletries and an over coat. I still had enough room for 2 books and computer power cords etc. Loved the bad, the wheels do not mean it will over balance. It is light and manageable. Highly recommend.

I searched for the perfect gift for my husband (who is extremely picky). When this bag arrived, I knew he was going to love it! (And he did.) The color and quality are great! The seller made the purchase easy!
